GEO 2010 National Conference Speaker Bio

Jeff Edmondson

Executive Director, Strive

Jeff Edmondson is the executive director of Strive, a partnership of postsecondary, K-12, business and nonprofit organizations in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky aimed at supporting every child from cradle to career. He is currently working with the Coalition of Urban Serving Universities and Living Cities to create similar partnerships in four other cities. He recently served as foundation officer for KnowledgeWorks Foundation. Edmonson also served as a volunteer and supervisor in Peace Corps in Gabon, Central Africa. He holds a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Richmond and a master's degree in public policy from The Johns Hopkins University.
